It would be nice to have the Chavel Blanc chairlift used instead of the vanier as It seems it provides better access to the downhill trails. There is an awful lot of climbing when using the vanier lift and defeats the purpose of using a chairlift.
Hi, I think you’re confused scott… Lager and Detour (which feeds into Lugtread then Growler) begin about 20ft away from the Vanier lift. These are the main downhill trails and can be done 100% without climbing. Stout and TToP are somewhat closer to the Cheval Blanc lift (although Pilsener/Stout is still about 100ft down Radar Rd from the chair), but they were constructed as a climbing trails and aren’t really dh trails at all.
